1. What is Group 1 ?
Group 1 Services are the top level posts in the Government Sector in the State.
2. How to become a Group 1 Officer ?
The State Public Service Commission conducts exam for selection to Group 1 Services. To become a Group 1 officer one must get selected through this examination process.
3. What is the selection procedure ?
The selection is done in 3 stages.
1. Preliminary Exam – Objective Type – Elimination of candidates
2. Mains Exam – Descriptive Type – Selection of Candidates for Interview
3. Interview – Personality Test – Final Selection

5. What are the suggested books for Group 1 Exam ?
Prelims – Tata McGraw Hill’s General Studies Manual for Civil Services Preliminary.

6. What is the qualification required to appear for Group 1 Exams?
One must be a graduate from any recognised University in India.
7. What are the posts that come under Group 1 Services ?
1. Deputy Collector (or) Revenue Divisional Officer
2. Deputy Superintendent of Police
3. Commercial Tax Officer
4. District Registrar
5. Mandal Parishat Development Officer
6. Assistant Excise Superintendent
7. RTO

8. Are there any physical requirements for Uniform Posts like DSP ?

9. Are the Group 1 Examinations conducted every year like the Civil Services Examination ?
No. The Group 1 examination will be conducted as and when the vacancies arise. Usually, if Congress is in power in the State, then Examination will be conducted (atleast notification will be given) just before the elections. If TDP is in power, forget about government jobs and try your luck in the private sector.
10. How much time is needed for Group 1 preparation ?
6 to 8 months depending upon your dedication and motivation levels.
11. Is coaching necessary ?
Coaching is not necessary if you can read the standard text books and prepare your own notes. But it is a time consuming process. Coaching centers will provide you with ready made material and the chance to listen to subject experts and take down notes in the class room.
If you have the money and time, joining a coaching institute is a good idea.
If you a doing a job or have economical problem, you have an equal chance of selecting if you are motivated.
12. Which coaching center is good for Group 1 ?
There are many coaching centers for Civil Services but only few provide coaching for Group 1. R.C.Reddy IAS Study Circle, Hyderabad Study Circle, Ambedkar Study Circle, A.P.Study Circle, etc are some of the popular institutes.
13. Are there reservations in Group 1 ?
Reservations will not be applicable in the Preliminary stage.
In the Mains and Final Selections, reservations are applied.

We provide only Soft Copies (pdf) for now.
16. Do you provide Material in Telugu medium ?
No. There are a lot of books available for Telugu Medium students in the market so we did not prepare material for telugu medium students.
17. Where can I get your Material ?
We are not selling the Material in market. If you want the Material you have to be a member of

18. Why are you not selling in the market ?
We want to provide the Material for a cost which everyone can afford. If we start marketing the books, then additional costs (like the brokerages, advertisement costs, transportation charges, percentage profit to the sellers) will be added to the final cost at which the student has to buy. To reduce these unnecessary costs we are not selling in the open market.
19. How can buy the Material without seeing it ?

20. How do I know it is not another internet scam ?
We are providing our phone number in the website. You can always call us and verify. Once you are willing to buy the material, we will be giving you our Bank Account details. We should be worried not you !!!
21. Why should I take your material ?
First of all, there are no good books or material for Group 1 in English medium in the market. If you are reading this, it means that you have been searching a lot for Group 1 Material (because we haven’t advertised about our Material anywhere either in print or electronic media).
Second, we have compiled the material, from standard books and authentic sources, in such a way that one can answer the questions in 10-12 minutes time.
22. What is the online coaching ? ?
We have printed Material for Paper 3 and 4 only. We are providing online coaching for the rest of the papers. Using your User name and Password and you can access the Material at a time of your choice.

26. Your answers are too small.
We have given the answers which you can write within 10 -12 minutes time. You should be having a really fast handwriting to write anything more than what we have given.
If you think our answers are inadequate, you are free to add your own points to them.
27. What if everybody writes the same answer ?
Don’t worry about that, it will never happen. No matter how many times you read, you will end up writing the answers in your own words. No body can remember the answers “word-to-word”.
28. What are the sources for your Material ? Did you follow standard books or have you written on your own ?
We did not write our own answers, we followed standard text books.
