I am planning to write Group 1 in telugu medium.. will you support to give materials in telugu version?

Do you have classroom coaching?

" No, we don't have classroom coaching and we are not associated with any coaching Institute. Ours is a purely internet based Online Coaching. "

What do you actually mean by "Online Coaching" ?

" Unlike a regular class room coaching, online coaching has the advantages of 24 hour accessibility, availability from any where in the world and "experiential learning". The only disadvantage is that it is not interactive. We are trying hard to make the learning process as interactive as possible but still it lacks the interactive experience of a classroom.

All the Material is uploaded into our website and organised into Prelims and Mains Sections. You should first Register and then Enroll. After successful enrollment, you will be provided access to the website according to your Course. You can log in to your account and access the Material anytime from anywhere. Your Account will be active for a period of 1 year from the date of registration. All the Material in Prelims Section can be downloaded to your computer for later use. Regarding Mains Coaching, along with the Online Material, you will be given Paper 3 and Paper 4 printed books (will be sent to you through DTDC). Any doubts will be clarified through mail/phone. "

Why are you starting with Mains Coaching while all the other institutes are starting Prelims Coaching ?

" Though the selection procedure is divided into Prelims and Mains stages, the syllabus prescribed for both the objective and descriptive type of examinations is essentially the same. The only difference is that Prelims is an "elimination" procedure where the "not so serious" candidates are eliminated and is thus based on factual matter while the Mains Examination is a "selective" procedure where the "better" candidates are selected for Interview and hence the emphasis is on basic understanding of the subject rather than mere by-hearting.

We start our Coaching with Mains Syllabus because of two reasons. Firstly, it will give you an overall idea of the subjects and topics involved thereby strengthening your basics. Secondly, if you prepare Prelims for 6 months then you will have less time to prepare for the Mains (4 months only). The Marks obtained in Mains decide your final selection. So we give more emphasis on Mains syllabus without neglecting Prelims Exam. "

But... isn't 2 months too short a duration for Prelims preparation?

" At the out set it may seem so. But when you are preparing for Mains, you are also preparing for Prelims. The subjects, topics and the coverage areas are the same. Only the orientation differs. So when you start Prelims preparation in March, it would be "second reading" for you. "

Have you covered the entire syllabus for Mains?

" We have covered 95% of the syllabus. We could not prepare notes for the rest of the 5% due to lack of information from authentic sources. We hope you can leave that in the choice. "

Hi...why r u not providing printed material for Paper II&V? How will you send the printed material for Paper II&IV? and my other question is can we save the material and can read later because internet access may not be possible all the time.

" Hi,
Q.1) We are not providing Printed Material for Paper 1 because it is ever changing. We are not providing Printed Material for Paper 2 because almost all topics in Paper 2 are self explanatory and once you read those topics in our website and prepare notes, you won't need further reference. We are not providing Printed Material for Paper 5 because R.S.Aggarwal's Quantitative Aptitude is sufficient and there is no point in printing a book for that.

Q.2) We will send the Material for Paper 3 and Paper 4 through DTDC Courier Service to the address you provide during Enrollment.

Q.3) You can download the Prelims Material but not the Mains Material. For those topics covered under the Mains Syllabus, you have to prepare your own notes based on the Material we provide to you.

I am an English medium candidate. How this coatching happens online, and at what timings this coatching is given, What materials you provide online as well as postal materials ?

" Q.1. Online Coaching means we will provide the material in our website - see the sample Notes.
Q.2.Timings - You can log in and read any time. (Just like any other website Example:Gmail)
Q.3. Online Material - for Prelims, Mains and Interview.
Q.4. Postal Material - printed books of Paper 3 (Economy) and Paper 4 (S&T) will be sent to your postal address. "

Dear sir, i came to know about your program just today. i will take me 2 days time to schedule my work and start preparing for the exam as per your time table i am already 9 days late i know i have to spend extra time to coupe up with the schedule. do have any second batch sir. it would be very helpful. - asked by Sriram.

" Dear Sriram,
We don't have a 2nd Batch as-it-is. But Our Indian history syllabus will be completed on 21st December and we will start Polity from 22nd December, 2011. You can join by 22nd Dec and continue with the Schedule for Prelims cum Mains batch. If you do so, you will have to study Indian History (which you missed completely) during the Prelims preparation and it will be revised again in June.

I think the best thing to do is join as soon as possible and try to cover the previous topics before 22nd December. In that way, you will have reached the schedule of the Prelims cum Mains batch by the time Polity is started.
